How to open mailto link in gmail

On terminal:
# sudo apt-get install desktop-webmail

Then:
# gnome-default-applications-properties
And change "Mail Reader" to Desktop-Webmail.

Then click on a mailto link and choose gmail.

How to hide the mounted partitions on gnome

# gconf-editor /apps/nautilus/desktop/ 


and then uncheck the box "volumes_visible"
